This is apparently the cover of some sort of invitation. Otherwise, I’m now 40% done with my project. Which, I guess there’s about 2 and 1/2 weeks to get the other 60% done…so, we’ll see if it actually happens. If not, there won’t be much point in mailing out the invite, which took way too long to make, despite how it looks as if it was made in about 5 minutes.
This is also for that project thing I sort of mentioned before.
This, again, is for this mystery thing I’m working on, or thinking about working on, when I’m not working on other stuff.
One of the things I’m juggling at the moment is this new website thing. Still pretty rough, but maybe the idea is halfway clear. And, you know, remember I’m not a designer (in case it’s not obvious, which I’m certain it is.)
Apparently, you can totally launder an iPod and it’ll be okay. Or, well, I guess I don’t mean OK in the classic NASA sense, ’cause the one I forgot to take out of my pocket before I did laundry won’t shuffle the way it used to do. Not that I was ever fully satisfied with the apparent non-randomness of the shuffle setting, ’cause even pre-laundry it would get stuck on one band for two or three tracks before switching over to some other genre or whatever. Now it sort of waits about six tracks before changing direction. But, anyway, at least it still works, despite the thorough soaking and I guess rinsing and spinning it received the other night. I mean, it for sure looked like a goner when I fished it out of the bottom of the washer, and even when I did manage to reboot it, the screen took a whole 48 hours to un-blur. Otherwise, though, it’s clean and shiny and doesn’t seem to hold too big a grudge about how bad it gets treated pretty much all the time.
So, anyhow, that’s why I’ve not been posting,’cause everything I know at the moment is the most trivial stuff ever. I mean, who really needs to know about my laundry mishaps? I don’t even want to know about ‘em.
I did draw this one thing, which is sort of a sketch for a project I’m sort of working on, if I can figure it out.
